.: So Late and So Sad :.

Its been quite the tear-ridden day...

Firstly, spent the afternoon with some long-lost darlin's I'd met again at Rusty's wedding. It was an interesting yesterday with them. Reveling in our shared pasts. K even reminded me of heavy crush that is now in Chicago. I was grinning like a moron. Kinda sad at a missed opportunity...

Then Brokeback Mountain. Weeping by the end. Surprisingly good. I think I went in mostly with the sensationalism of the movie but was blown away by the performances. Anne Hathaway in a drama?? *That was the most of the surprisingly good part.

Then James Frey on Oprah. This is a whole nother entry. The show itself seemed so thin. It was the memories of the book, I was floored. I STILL do not believe that this book is an Oprah Book Club book. And please please do NOT let that fact, be some sort of hindrance. Actually, I think some of the messages of the book seemed shrunken? It took the power of these ideas and they seemed kinda silly as I was watching with my sister. She'd seen it already and got all teary eyed though she hasn't read the book. Apparently, she has no plans to do so. I'm bloody finding the audiobook for her and her commute. I believe that she'll understand my anger and outrage more. Atleast I hope so.

Then Anne-girl. I'd put it out of my head that she was going to be gone. Off to Brazil. For three months. In tears after her going away dance at Fizz tonight. Really, Tessa, its only three months. Even less time than when she's off to school. Just this is a bad time for it. For me. Its just.. that I'll miss her.

*sigh*
