I sat in melancholy this morning. Saw Whale Rider last night with my mar and Nana. A wonderful little story with a scene I can not get out of my head. The little heroine cries and tries to be brave. It reminded me of many other scenes from movies with little crying girls so sorrowful but with not from little whiny demanding feelings but huge mature emotion that its difficult to believe a child could comprehend.
